MS, who lives in Dinar district, went to the police station yesterday and stated that he was defrauded by the person who called on Monday. In his statement, MS said, “I’m calling from the police. Your name is involved in FETO events, but we have investigated, you do not have a criminal record. It turns out that you have no affiliation with these people. You need to help us, you will send the money in your account to the accounts of the people I sent. And we’re going to catch them red-handed. Then we will send the money back to you in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,’ he said. Saying that he believed what was told on the phone and sent 315 thousand 939 liras, MS complained about fraudsters.
A similar incident occurred one day apart in Tatarlı town of the district. HE went to the District Gendarmerie Command Tatarlı Gendarmerie Station on Tuesday and stated that he was defrauded by the person who called him from 2 different numbers. Expressing that the person he talked to on the phone introduced himself as a gendarmerie personnel, HE described the conversation between them as follows:
`They entered your bank account. They are about to withdraw all the money from your account. I’ll help you. Go to the nearest bank and deposit all your money into the account number I will give you. After you deposit the money, I will hand over the money to your spouse in cash. “I’m waiting to hear from you,” he said. Sent by the person he interviewed, İ.S. Transferring that he deposited 120 thousand lira into the account registered in his name, HE said that when he returned home, he learned that there was no one to bring money, and that he realized that he had been defrauded. The gendarmerie, which started working on the complaint, determined that the two phone numbers that called HE were registered to the name of KA. Upon the complaints, the prosecutor’s office launched an investigation.
