The national wrestler, who finished the first half 3-0 ahead, could not maintain his superiority in the second half. Kebispayev won the match 7-4 and won the bronze medal, while Murat finished fifth in the organization’s weight division.
On the other hand, Greco-Roman style 87 kilos world champion Metehan Başar lost the repechage match with Arkadiusz Marcin Kulynycz from Poland.
Thus, Turkey finished the World Wrestling Championship with 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Burhan Akbudak won silver in Greco-Roman style, Taha Akgül and Fazlı Eryılmaz in men’s freestyle, and Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu in women’s bronze medal.
