A Palestinian group performed evening prayers at the Yusufiye Cemetery, located at the foot of the eastern walls of Masjid al-Aqsa.
After the prayer, the Israeli police intervened in the Palestinian group protesting the destruction of some tombs in the Yusufiye Cemetery by the Jerusalem Municipality, with sound bombs.

In a written statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent, it was shared that 2 Palestinians were injured by sound bombs during the intervention of the Israeli police.
In the statement, it was stated that one of the injured was a first aid worker affiliated to the Red Crescent and both injured were treated at the scene.
The Jerusalem Municipality of Israel had destroyed the Muslim graves at the bottom of the walls of the Masjid al-Aqsa.
Ahmed ed-Dijani, the official of the Commission for the Protection of Muslim Cemeteries affiliated to the Islamic Foundations Administration of Jerusalem, stated that the Jerusalem Municipality of Israel aims to park in the area and emphasized that this area is an integral part of the Yusufiye Cemetery.
