2 doses of accepted vaccines to perform Umrah
In a written statement, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia stated that as of October 10, the permission to perform Umrah and pray in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi will be limited to those who have received 2 doses of the coronavirus vaccine accepted in the country.
48 hour requirement for 2nd dose
In the statement, it was stated that people who have taken permission for Umrah, worship or visit but have not had 2 doses of vaccine, should receive the 2nd dose 48 hours before the permission date in order for their permission not to be cancelled.
The Ministry stated that all the measures and protective measures taken regarding the coronavirus are constantly evaluated by the Public Health Institution according to the developments in the course of the epidemic.
