Livik.net – The Vivo brand noted several product names last year, one of which was the “Vivo Pad” tablet which allegedly arrived in January. However, that prediction did not come true, and months later, there is still no word from Vivo about its first tablet.
But it looks like the company will soon enter the tablet category as the Vivo device, which is believed to be a tablet, was already TUV certified earlier this month, and now the Vivo Pad name has become a trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Vivo Pad is a trademark under Section 9, which covers several product categories, including tablet computers and PDAs.
The listing on the European agency’s website doesn’t divulge the Vivo Pad’s specifications, but the Vivo device that was recently spotted on the TUV website and is believed to be the Vivo Pad packs an 8,040mAh battery.
When it comes to its launch later, Vivo is not the first brand under the BBK umbrella to issue a tablet. That will be Realme since the company started teasing its tablet, called the Realme Pad, and will also soon be bringing its first laptop to the market, called the Realme Book.
Other BBK members Oppo is also rumored to be launching tablets and notebooks this year.
