A statement was made regarding the yellowish image formed in a region on the shore of Salda Lake in Burdur’s Yeşilova district from the social media account of the Ministry.
In the statement, which includes photos of Salda Lake today and two years ago, the following were recorded:
“The color change on the shores of Salda Lake is caused by pollens and tree debris in the pines and reed areas around the lake. Pollen bursts are a natural process in spring. Seasonal appearance occurs periodically every year.

At the Salda Lake, a participatory and transparent conservation work is carried out at the international level with our scientists and non-governmental organizations. The allegations that the color change on the lakeshore is due to the conservation project carried out in the region are completely unfounded. “
On the other hand, a video about the old and new state of Salda Lake was shared with the message “Salda will always be beautiful” from the social media account of the Ministry.
