The funeral of the person who fell ill while watching the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match played in the Alaşehir district of Manisa yesterday evening and lost his life in the hospital where he was taken, was buried.
According to the information received, Ahmet Uysal (65), who watched the derby match in the coffee house in the Tepeköy District, fell ill towards the end of the match.
Uysal, who was taken to the private hospital in the district by the people in the coffee house, could not be saved despite the intervention.
Uysal’s body was sent to Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
“He was a fanatic Fenerbahçe fan”
Ercan Uysal, nephew of Ahmet Uysal, who lost his life, stated that his father of 2 children and his uncle, who has 6 grandchildren, came to his coffee house to watch the match in the evening, and said, “He was a fanatic Fenerbahçe fan. He had the Fenerbahçe crest made on the wall of his three-storey house. The match was very exciting. Fenerbahçe scored a goal in the last minutes of the match. ” said.
On the other hand, the body of Uysal, who was taken from the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute by his family, was brought to his home in Tepeköy District.
The funeral of Uysal, whose coffin was covered with the Fenerbahce flag, was taken to the Merkez Mosque after obtaining halal permission.
Uysal’s body was buried in Tepeköy Cemetery after the prayer.
