IT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE ARMS OF THE RUSSIAN NAVY IN 2022
The Tsirkon missile was tested by being launched from the Admiral Gorshkov ship this July, and in October, November and December last year. Each of the trials was declared successful.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a statement at the beginning of November that the Tsirkon missile will enter the Russian navy’s arsenal in 2022.
It is known that the Tsirkon missile can hit land and sea targets within a range exceeding a thousand kilometers. The missile can reach 9 mach speed of sound during its flight. Tsirkon missiles can be deployed on ships for the time being, but a land-launched version of the missile is also being studied.
