Tokat Governor Ozan Balcı reminded that in the program organized to give a certificate of appreciation at Cumhuriyet Square, a flood disaster occurred in the Bozkurt district of Kastamonu and Ayancık district of Sinop on 11 August.
Stating that he also served in Bozkurt after the flood, Balcı wished mercy to those who lost their lives.
Pointing out that they saw the greatest example of state-nation cooperation and cohesion in the region after the flood, Balcı said, “The state was in the flood zone with all its institutions, power and means. It made great sacrifices in eliminating flood damage and returning the lives of our citizens to normal. We were there as the Tokat team. ” used his statements.
Explaining that Minister of Interior Soylu sent a certificate of appreciation to those working in the region, Balcı said:
“On behalf of the state and nation, we presented those documents to them. They will receive medals of honor. ‘Difficult days, extended hands are unforgettable.’ As they say, this is actually a duty. We act with a sense of national togetherness. We feel the pain of the people here in our hearts. We grieve with their sadness. We worry about their troubles. If we have salt in the soup, we, as the Tokat team, consider ourselves happy about making people’s lives easier.”
Balcı then handed out the certificates of appreciation to 350 people from 13 institutions.
