Speaking here, Demir said that their aim as the defense industry sector is to increase the capacity of science, technology and innovation.

Expressing that the depth of industry and technology, the production and employment capacity of the country, and the work on high value-added products are an integral part of this, while making progress in matters concerning the security of the country in this technology journey, Demir said that they, as the defense industry, have increased the resources allocated to R&D and technology investments in recent years. stated.

Expressing that the number of projects has reached quite high figures, Demir said, “Today, we have more than 750 projects, more than half of which we have started in the last 5 years. One of the biggest goals of our R&D studies as a sector is to increase efficiency. The defense industry is generally important resources. “We will continue to use the scarce resources of our country in the most efficient, effective and high value-added way here.” he said.

Within this framework, I would like to state that the projects to be proposed in the studies to be carried out within the university and TEKNOPARK are also very important. We have no time to waste.
