46 suspects, who were detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terrorist Crimes Investigation Bureau, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.
36 of the suspects questioned by the public prosecutors became confessors, stating that they wanted to benefit from effective repentance provisions. The suspects, who were stated to have identified 238 people whose connections they knew, were released under judicial control.
Organizational links are explored
It was learned that there was no investigation against 45 of the 131 suspects identified, and a detailed investigation regarding the organizational connections of the other 107 identified individuals is still ongoing.
It was noted that the prosecutor’s office deepened the investigation into the organization’s Gendarmerie General Command, in line with the testimony of the confessors.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against 50 suspects, who were found to be communicating via fixed telephones with civilian imams belonging to the private services organization of FETÖ’s Gendarmerie General Command.
In the operation carried out by the Ankara Security Directorate Anti-Terrorism Branch teams on May 25, 46 of the suspects were detained.
